Conditional Sentences or ”If Clauses” There are three types of conditional sentences. Type 1 Conditional: the conditional “if clause” is in the Simple Present, and the main clause is in the Simple Future. If the weather is fine, we will go for a walk. Եթե եղանակը լավը լինի, մենք կգնանք զբոսանքի: They will arrive in Boston on time if they catch the morning train. Նրանք կժամանեն Բոստոն ժամանակին, եթե հասցնեն առավոտյան գնացքին:(Pay attention to the fact that we do not use a comma when the secondary clause is placed after the main clause. Ուշադրություն դարձրեք այն փաստին, որ ստորակետ չի դրվում, երբ երկրորդական նախադասությունը գլխավորից հետո է:) Type 2 Conditional: the conditional “if clause” is in the Simple Past, and the main clause is in the Future in-the-past. If the weather were (was) fine tomorrow, we would go for a walk. Եթե եղանակը լավը լիներ վաղը, մենք կգնայինք զբոսանքի:They would arrive in Boston on time if they caught the morning train. Նրանք կհասնեին Բոստոն ժամանակին, եթե հասցնեին առավոտյան գնացքին:Type 3 Conditional: the conditional “if clause” is in the Past Perfect, and the main clause is in the Future Perfect-in-the-past. If the weather had been fine yesterday, we would have gone for a walk. Եթե եղանակը լավը եղած լիներ երեկ, մենք գնացած կլինեինք զբոսանքի:
We (to go) for a walk tomorrow, if the weather (to be) fine, and it (not to rain).
We will go for a walk tomorrow, if the weather is fine, and it doesn’t rain.
It’s a pity I live so far from the office. If I (to live) nearer to the office, I (not to be late) for work so often.
If I was living nearer to the office, I wouldn’t be late for work so often.
Ann: Let’s tell them the truth. Mary: No. If we (to tell) them the truth, they (not to believe) us.

Do you think advertising influences the choices you make when you buy something?
Maybe yes, cause there are a lot of things about which we know from advertisements, or we can have a simpaty about things which we see for example on TV.
What is the most shocking advertisement you have ever seen?
